ABOUT

In April of 2006, during her last quarter of college, Donna Buenaventura desperately needed some extra cash. She was inspired by seeing a homemade goods site of someone local and decided she could do that! She purchased a dot com, printed some Mother's Day & graduation cards and started selling them to people she knew. The Donut Lounge expanded in September of 2006 with the purchase of her first sewing machine. From there, bags and plush toys were added to the line.



The Donut Lounge combines her love for cuteness, corniness, and cravings, by allowing her to design and incorporate foods she loves. She's a stickler for good typography and simplicity and although her tastes are consistent, she's always thinking of new and different goodies to make. In her spare time, when she isn't working or doing schoolwork, she enjoys spending countless hours on the internet, messing with her D70, and buying books/magazines she never gets to read.
